The Fourth International Conference on Community-Based Adaptation to Climate Change is taking place between 21-27 February 2010 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The conference will bring together policymakers, researchers, vulnerable communities and practitioners to share and discuss latest developments in community-based adaptation (including ecosystem-based adaptation). The goal of the conference is to share knowledge and experiences to help communities most at risk to climate change. It will also include a two day field trip to vulnerable ecosystems around Dar es Salaam to view community-based adaptation activities.
